I'll make this brief because as much as I'd like to write right now, I'm ridiculous exhausted. Seriously this head cold is kicking my butt. For training today, I did a 20-minute morning ab workout consisting of crunches & plank holds. I warmed up with a few minutes of jumping jacks and in place jogging. Tonight I ran a 7-miler from my apartment onto campus. It was glorious having sunlight until 6:30ish tonight...I can't wait until it's holding on until 10PM. The weather was cool (okay, COLD) but comfortable with zero wind and it was just an all around good run with good company. Basically, it was a great way to end a less than stellar work day.
Tomorrow I'm looking forward to a nice early morning 4-miler (on the dreadmill) and then taking the rest of the day off. It's my hubby's birthday!
